When pricing Florianopolis accommodations, keep in mind that Brazil Hotels don't offer the same comforts and conveniences that my private vacation home can offer you. Most Brazil Hotels are expensive, poorly maintained, in poor locations, and don't offer internet, a US phone line, washer & dryer, kitchen, air conditioning, nor private Jacuzzi. For about the same price as a Florianopolis hotel, you can have all the comforts and luxuries of an American home in the best location on Florianopolis island, at Praia Mole beach. Prices exclude weeks of New Years & Carnaval. The weeks of New
Years and Carnaval (mid February) are extremely popular in Brazil
and, as such, prices are higher due to high demand & limited
availability in the area. Carnaval week is Feb 11th thru Feb 17th,
2010.

Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Add 3% for payment with credit card or Paypal.
Deposit Required to Hold Unit:
50% down with balance due 45 days prior to arrival in high season or 30 days prior in low season.
Security Deposit:
$300 due
45 days prior to arrival, refundable within 10 days of checkout.
Cleaning Fee:
$75 one-time. Additional interim housekeeping services available upon request, additional fee applies.
Airport Pickup:
Airport pickup is available for an additional US$50. If you rent a car from the company I recommend, they will meet you at the airport with your car and give you a map with directions to the house. If available, they may also be able to escort you to the house.

Florianopolis
Car Rental:
For your convenience, I
can arrange a car rental from an English-speaking company at the
lowest rates in Floripa. Your rental car can be delivered to you
at the airport or at the house.
Private VIP Nightlife
Tour Guide:
A personal
bilingual tour guide and designated driver can be provided for an additional 100 reais
per day or night plus any of the guide's incurred expenses. (100
reais = approximately $45 USD).
Deep Sea Sport Fishing:
There is great Mahi Mahi fishing during the summer and massive Grouper can be caught year-round, among other types of fish, such as Linguado and Anchova. Rates vary based on season and number of people in your party. The boat departs just a few minutes away from the townhouse.
White Water River Rafting:
This
is a 2-hour rafting trip located in the mountains on the
continent, just an hour drive from the house. The river is a class
2-3. The largest drop can be seen on my photos
page. The cost is just R$40-R$45 per person (about $20 USD). The
rafting guides speak English but I recommend hiring one of my tour
guides for this trip so you don't get lost on the continent.
