Vacation in Florianopolis Brazil

Florianopolis, Brazil is a famous vacation destination for all of South America and is quickly gaining popularity among the rest of the world. Known as the safest city in Brazil, it is also one of the wealthiest areas of Brazil. Florianopolis is primarily large island with 42 beautiful beaches with great surfing and some of the best nightlife in South America, which explains why this is the #1 vacation destination for Brazilians. While most Brazilians want to keep it a secret from the rest of the world, the word is getting out so come enjoy it before it becomes another Rio De Janeiro littered with foreigners.

Just a 1-hour flight south of Sao Paulo, Florianopolis is an island and the capitol city of Santa Catarina, a state in south Brazil. It has rolling hills and mountains covered in lush green jungles & forest. If You Could Vacation Anywhere in the World...

If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world, I would highly recommend Florianopolis Brazil. I’ve traveled all over the world, mostly to tropical places, and with all things considered, Florianopolis takes first place in my list of favorite vacation destinations (by a long shot). My first trip to Brazil was scheduled for just 4 weeks, along with a friend of mine, but after just a few days, we fell in love with the island and decided to stay until our visas expired 6 months later. Within the first 2 months, we both fell in love with beautiful Brazilian women (who we later married) and now we both own beautiful Florianopolis vacation homes in the best location on the island, where my Brazilian wife and I now live at least 6 months per year. Florianopolis Beaches

Florianopolis Island has 42 beautiful beaches with some of the best surf in Brazil. It is also home to the most beautiful women in Brazil and some of the best nightlife in South America so you can see how the qualities of this amazing place are coming together, especially for young singles looking for an action-packed vacation.

Florianopolis beaches are simply amazing. Brazil's environmental laws prohibit the building of homes within 100 yards of the sand so 90% of the beaches are surrounded by jungle or lush vegetation, making nearly every beach downright beautiful. On just about every popular beach, you’ll find at least one restaurant on the sand that doubles as a bar. In high season (Dec-Feb) they will usually have DJs spinning at these beach bars and beginning around 2 pm, people will gather at the bars and the party will begin with drinking & dancing into the sunset. Once the sun goes down, people head home and prepare for the nightlife.

Florianopolis Nightlife

In Brazil, people don’t start going out until midnight, which works out great for Americans who are used to getting a much earlier start. This means it’s easy to beat the crowd in high season, where lines to enter a nightclub can be a 50-100 yards long after midnight. Unlike nightclubs in the USA (where the beautiful women walk right past the line), Brazil has so many beautiful women, they get no special treatment here and have to stand in line with everyone else. And since Florianopolis is 70% women to begin with, the lines at the nightclubs are also 70% women. It’s really an unusually pleasant sight for any North American tourist to see.

Private Nightlife Tour Guide

To make your Florianopolis vacation even better, I can provide vacationers with with a bilingual nightlife tour guide who can take you to the best nightclubs on the best nights, provide translation services, and also be your designated driver, which really comes in handy for most vacationers, considering Brazil's new zero-tolerance drinking laws. Hiring a nightlife tour guide will save you a lot of time trying to figure out things on your own and costs about the same as taking a round-trip taxi ride so it's a no-brainer for most vacationers.

Carnival in Florianopolis

Carnival in Florianopolis is much the same as it is in the rest of Brazil but without the crime and violence one might experience in Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, or Buzios. Beginning the Thursday before Carnaval day, the city comes alive with amazing energy with 6 days and nights of straight partying. During the day, the beaches are comparable to a massive MTV beach party, filled with the most beautiful women in all of Brazil. As night falls, the beaches empty and the nightclubs become packed to capacity and do not empty until the sun rises. When the sun rises, the party moves back to the beaches and the cycle repeats itself through Carnaval night, which is the following Tuesday. On Carnaval day (Tuesday) the streets in the downtown area of the island (called Centro), are filled by thousands of Brazilians who pack the streets for the largest street party you've ever seen! The party starts at one point of the city and winds its way through the streets and high rise buildings where it finally ends with a grand finale in another location. In this massive street party, you'll see many guys dressed as women, NOT actual transsexuals and transvestites like you will see in Rio and Salvador, but normal heterosexual guys who dress up just for the fun of it. If you want to experience a great Carnival in Brazil, without people trying to rob you, then come experience Carnaval in Florianopolis, the safest city in Brazil and you'll see why this is where all of Brazil's movie stars and wealthy come here to vacation.
